Configuring SMS Settings

The Mobile Security Management Module controls and monitors SMS Gateway/SMS Senders that are connected to the server. The SMS Gateway/SMS Senders send messages to mobile devices to perform Mobile Device Agent installation, registration, component update, security policy setting, and remote wipe/lock.

By default, Mobile Security is configured to use SMS Gateway to send SMS messages. However, you may need to change the default configuration according to your requirements.

To use SMS Sender:

1. Open file TmOMSM.ini (located in \OfficeScan\Addon\Mobile Security) in a text editor.

2. Change SmsSenderType value to 1.

To use SMS Gatway:

1. Open file TmOMSM.ini (located in \OfficeScan\Addon\Mobile Security) in a text editor.

2. Change SmsSenderType value to 0.
