Wipe Remote Device

• Device Management > Tasks > Lost Device Protection > Remote Wipe

Use the Wipe Remote Device screen to remotely clear the internal memory/SD card and reset the mobile device to factory settings. This feature helps ensure the security of the data for lost, stolen or misplaced mobile devices.

• Be careful when you use this feature as the action CANNOT be undone. All data will be lost and unrecoverable.

To remotely wipe a mobile device:

1. In the Device Management screen, select a domain from the device tree; then, select a device from the device list.

2. Click Tasks > Lost Device Protection > Remote Wipe. This displays the Wipe Remote Device screen.

3. Select the appropriate Device name checkbox.

4. Click Wipe Remote Device to clear the internal memory/SD card and reset the mobile device to factory settings.
