Deleting a Mobile Device

• Device Management > Manage Device Tree > Delete

When you delete a mobile device from the device tree, the mobile device information is removed from the Mobile Security database. The Mobile Security Management Module will automatically send an unregister message to the device.  

To delete a device from the device tree:

1. In the Device Management screen, select the device you want to delete from the device tree.

2. Click the Manage Device Tree tab and click Delete.

3. A warning screen displays prompting you to confirm the deletion. Click OK to delete; otherwise, click Cancel.

• The mobile device agent will be automatically unregistered from the server if it receives SMS notification after it is deleted from the server.
