Use the NVW 1.x Rescue Utility

Uploading with the Network VirusWall 1.x Rescue Utility performs the same function as uploading the program file through the command line interface. The utility, however, is a user-friendly, Windows based option for those who prefer to use a graphical user interface.

To access the Network VirusWall 1.x Rescue Utility:

1. Access the Control Manager management console.

2. Mouseover Administration. A drop-down menu appears.

3. Click Tools. The tools screen appears.

4. On the working area, click NVW 1.x Rescue Utility. A dialog box appears requesting to save or run the rescue utility.
