Use SetupPatch.exe

Use SetupPatch.exe to restore the Internet Information Server (IIS) settings of the Trend VCS 1.8x or Control Manager server. Use this tool under the following circumstances.

• Should the installation procedure to upgrade from Trend VCS to Control Manager prove unsuccessful, run this tool to revive Trend VCS functions.

• Running the Trend VCS removal routine after migrating from Trend VCS to Control Manager can modify the IIS settings in such a way as to disable Control Manager. Run this tool to restore Control Manager.

To use SetupPatch.exe:

1. Using Windows Explorer™, go to the Tools folder of the Control Manager installation CD.

2. Double-click SetupPatch.exe.

3. Click Start to begin repairs. The tool's user interface shows the modified settings.

4. Click Exit to close the program.
   Run SetupPatch.exe on the server where Trend VCS 1.8x or Control Manager functions are to be restored.
