Configuring Timeout Settings

Administration > Timeout

From the Timeout Settings screen configure the console and command timeout settings. When the console times out, Control Manager requires user authentication (logging on) to access the Web console. When a command times out Control Manager stops trying to execute a command (for example a deploy component command to OfficeScan servers).

To configure timeout settings:

1. Mouseover Administration. A drop down menu appears.

2. Click Timeout Settings from the drop down menu. The Timeout Settings screen appears.

3. Specify the command timeout setting:

4. 24 hours

5. 48 hours

6. 72 hours

4. Specify the console timeout setting:

5. Never time out

6. Timeout after a specified time elapses:

• 10 minutes

• 15 minutes

• 30 minutes

5. Click Save.
