Configure Network Virus Alert Settings

Network virus alerts provide a system-wide perspective of a potential outbreak caused by a network virus.

To configure network virus alert settings:

1. Access Event Center.

2. On the working area, click Settings adjacent to the Network virus alert event.

3. On the Edit Network Virus Alert Settings page, provide the following:

4. Detection rate — the number of viruses that triggers an outbreak alert

5. Time period — the period of consideration for detection rate parameter, in minute(s)

6. Spread — the number of computers infected

4. Click Save.
