Logs/Reports > Settings > Log Aggregation
Log aggregation rules can save network bandwidth by selecting which information managed products send to Control Manager.
Log aggregation comes at a cost. Information that managed products do not send to Control Manager is lost. Control Manager cannot create reports or queries for information the server does not have. This can raise issues if information that was deemed unimportant and dropped is later of critical importance and cannot be accessed.
Mouseover Logs/Reports. A drop down menu appears.
Mouseover Settings from the drop down menu. A sub-menu appears.
Click Log Aggregation Settings from the sub-menu. The Log Aggregation Settings screen appears.
Select Enable log aggregation.
Clear the check boxes for data that managed products will not send to Control Manager.
Click Save.
