The ScanMail and InterScan family of products are antivirus applications that protect your email systems and Internet gateway, respectively.
If you regularly update these products, you only need to deploy incremental virus patterns � which only contain the virus signatures that are absent from the pattern file currently used by the program. If the products are fresh installations, or are not updated regularly, deploy full virus patterns.
The following table shows the size of the updates deployed to these products. File sizes are approximations (as at December 2003).
