proxy_settings
If you use a proxy server in the network, configure proxy settings.
SOCKS4 proxy configuration has been removed from Smart Protection Server. After upgrading to this version, if in the previous version SOCKS4 was configured for the proxy settings, the proxy settings need to be re-configured.
A brief description of the available options is below.
Use a proxy server: Select if your network uses a proxy server.
HTTP: Select if your proxy server uses HTTP as the proxy protocol.
SOCKS5: Select if your proxy server uses SOCKS5 as the proxy protocol.
Server name or IP address: Type the proxy server name or IP address.
Port: Type the port number.
User ID: Type the user ID for the proxy server if your proxy server requires authentication.
Password: Type the password for the proxy server if your proxy server requires authentication

To configure proxy settings:
Administration > Proxy Settings
Select the Use a proxy server for updates check box.
Select HTTP or SOCKS5 for the Proxy protocol.
Type the server name or IP address.
Type the port number.
If your proxy server requires credentials, type the User ID and Password.
Click Save.
