Configuring Attachment Blocking Targets Parent topic

Procedure

  1. Click Attachment Blocking on the main menu.
    The Attachment Blocking screen displays.
  2. Add or edit a policy or exception:
    • For new policies or exceptions:
      1. Click Add Exception.
      2. Go to the Specify Policy screen.
    • For preexisting policies or exceptions:
      1. Click the exception Policy or Devices hyperlink to edit an exception.
      2. Click the Target tab.
  3. Configure the following settings:
    • Attachment types: Select specific file types to exclude from the Global Policy.
    • Attachment names: Specify file names and/or extensions to exclude from the Global Policy.

      Tip
      Click Show details to specify file types or names.
    • Maximum file size: Specify the maximum size of attachments that ScanMail Mobile excludes from the Global Policy.
