This option is only supported on Exchange Server 2013. Exchange Server 2010 and 2007 public folders are based in the database system. To enable public folder scanning on Exchange Server 2010 and 2007, select the Public Folder Database option in the Database Selection section when performing Manual and Scheduled Scans.
