Control Manager Settings

A brief description of the options available on this screen is available below.

Enable communication between the ScanMail MCP agent and Control Manager: Select to enable communication with Control Manager.
Entity display name: Specify the display name for this server on the Control Manager Management console.
Server FQDN or IP address: Specify the Control Manager FQDN or IP address.
Port: Specify the port.
Connect using HTTPS: Select to connect using HTTPS.
Username: Specify the Web server user name.
Password: Specify the Web server password.
Use a proxy server for communication with the Control Manager server: Select to use a proxy server for communicating with the Control Manager server.
Proxy protocol: Select HTTP or SOCKS5.
Server FQDN or IP address: Specify the FQDN or IP address.
Port: Specify the port.
User ID: Specify the user ID for proxy server authentication.
Password: Specify the password for proxy server authentication.
Enable two-way communication port forwarding: Select to enable two-way communication port forwarding.
IP address: Specify the IP address of a NAT.
Port: Specify the port.
