Security Risk Scan: Notification

A brief description of the options available on this screen is available below.

• Notify administrator: Select to send a notification to the administrator.

• Notify sender: Select to send a notification to the sender of the email message.

• Notify recipient(s): Select to send a notification to the recipient of the email message.

• Show details: Click to view additional options.

• SNMP: Select to send notifications by SNMP.

• Write to Windows event log: Select to record the notification to a Windows event log.

• Save: Click to save your settings

• Reset: Click to revert to default settings.

Configuring Security Risk Scan Notifications

The following lists the procedure required for configuring security risk scan notifications.

To specify security risk scan notification settings:

1. Select the check boxes corresponding to the people ScanMail will notify. Refer to Notification for details.

2. Click Write to Windows event log to have ScanMail write the notification to a Windows event log.

3. Click Save.
