Running Integrity Checks

Before you begin

SecureCloud runs integrity checks on machines that are assigned to a policy that has integrity checking enabled.

Administrators can schedule integrity checks to occur at specific times, or run on-demand integrity checks.

Note

SecureCloud only performs integrity checks when key(s) have been granted to encrypted general, RAID, or ephemeral volume(s). SecureCloud does not perform integrity checks if a computer only contains an encrypted boot volume or its key status is "Pending".

Procedure

Scheduling Integrity Checks
On the Active Keys screen, click the Integrity Check Settings button.
Specify the desired frequency of integrity checks in the Schedule area.
Specify how long SecureCloud should wait to re-grant a revoked encryption key in the Period for Key Request Attempt(s) area.
Running On-Demand Integrity Checks
On the Active Keys screen, select an encryption key request and click Run Integrity Check.

The status of an integrity check displays as Good, Bad, or Unknown.
