Editing or Deleting Policies

As administrators analyze key request patterns, policy effectiveness, and inventory changes, they may want to edit or delete policies.

Important

Administrators can edit the rules in the Default Policy, but SecureCloud does not allow administrators to delete the Default Policy or remove machines assigned to the Default Policy if no other policy exists.

Procedure

Editing Policies
On the Policies screen, click the hyperlinked policy name.

In the Policy Information area, modify the policy name, description, policy rules, the key encryption request actions, or the machines assigned to the policy.

Tip

The option to enable integrity checking is on the Actions tab.

Deleting Policies
On the Policies screen, select the policy to delete and click Delete.
