Checking Device Status Parent topic

The Inventory summary screen displays a list of all machines. Click the name of a machine to check the status of the machine's devices.

Device Status

Status
Description
Not Encrypted
The device is not encrypted.
Encryption Pending
SecureCloud is ready to approve the requested encryption key and encrypt the storage device.
Encrypting
SecureCloud is in the process of encrypting the device.
Encrypted
The device is encrypted.
Encryption Failed
SecureCloud has encountered a problem while encrypting the device.
Not Encryptable
The device cannot be encrypted for one of the following reasons:
  • Device has GUID Partition Table (GPT) format
  • AWS Linux root device is encrypted
  • Linux root device does not have a boot partition
  • Amazon EC2 device is a partition-like device
  • SecureCloud Agent is installed across data volumes
  • Boot partition size is less than 100MB
  • SecureCloud Agent is not installed in the Windows root volume
Undetected
The machine cannot detect the device.

One or more devices in RAID array are Undetected.
