Procedure

1. On the SecureCloud web console > Inventory > Devices page, select the desired data storage device, RAID, or any combination of these for which you want to export the encryption keys.
   The target volume(s) must have a status of Encrypted or In-use.

   Note If you were storing the encryption key on a KMIP sever and have since terminated the connection to this sever, SecureCloud can no longer pass you the actual encryption key, but only the KMIP key ID. From the KMIP server, use the KMIP key ID to access the encryption key. See your KMIP server documentation for complete details.

2. Click .
3. Supply the passphrase when prompted.
   This passphrase is used to cipher/encrypt the device key when it is deciphered from the database. This ensures that the key is extracted securely.
4. Click Save to save the zip file.
