Troubleshooting Encrypted Ephemeral Storage Devices

Ensure that an ephemeral storage is added to an instance before launch. Refer to the Amazon EC2 documentation for instruction.
Query and obtain the ephemeral storage device node name
Check whether the device node name exist inside the instance or not
The life cycle of an ephemeral storage is the same as the instance. Therefore, when you stop or terminate an instance, the encrypted data stored in instance storage will disappear. You need to run the Configuration Tool again.
