Database Encryption Key Backup Parent topic

Procedure

  1. On the Central Management Console Administration > DB Encryption Key page, select the passphrase information.
    • Automatically assign a passphrase—SecureCloud will display the passphrase in the Database Encryption Key page once you click Backup.
    • Use the following passphrase—decide and type a passphrase that must be 6-71 characters long.

    Record the generated passphrase or the one you create and keep it in a safe place. If you forget your database encryption key password, you will not be able to import the database encryption key.
  2. Click Backup.
The database encryption key data is saved in an encrypted text file.
