LDAP Server Settings for Authentication Parent topic

The Central Management Console Administration > Authentication Settings allows you to set the following:
  • Enable LDAP authentication—implements the authentication settings for the LDAP server

    Deselecting this option does not delete any information you supplied in Authentication Settings area.
  • LDAP server type—for now, the only option is Microsoft Active Directory
  • Domain name—name of the Active Directory (AD) domain
  • User name—AD user
  • Password—password
