resource_pool
By enabling resource pooling in a policy, the Management Server is able to instruct the Runtime Agent as to which data storage device(s) it should use in the event that the requested device is in use by another instance. See Creating a Policy to enable resource pooling.
For each requested device that is already in use, the Management Server will select an unallocated device from the same resource pool (policy) as the originally requested device, and instruct the agent to use this.
Resource pooling is not applicable for vCloud and native machine environment where devices cannot be dynamically attached to a running instance.
