The PortalProtect Debugger
can assist you with debugging or reading the status of PortalProtect processes. When unexpected
difficulties occur, you can use the debugger to create debugger reports and send them
to Trend Micro Technical Support for analysis.
To configure the debugger:
The following provides a definition and short explanation for each of the modules
contained in
the Debugger.

From the following, select the checkbox next to the module(s) to create debug reports;
select
the top checkbox to select all:

PortalProtect Master Service: provides the major security protection
services for the SharePoint server

PortalProtect System Watcher: acts as a watch dog program for
monitoring PortalProtect status

SharePoint Virus Scan API Hooking: to prevent files containing a
virus or other malware from being uploaded or downloaded from SharePoint, Microsoft
SharePoint Server exposes the Virus Scan API Hooking for the antivirus vendor component
to
real-time document scanning

Manual/Scheduled Scan Process: PortalProtect uses these processes to
detect malware and take the appropriate action

Common Gateway Interface (CGI): cgiDispatcher is the CGI program
that sends CGI requests to PortalProtect
