
You can configure the notification settings according to the following:
Select the Mail checkbox to enable this notification.
In the To field, accept the default email address(es) or enter a new one. You can enter additional email addresses by separating them with a semicolon.
In the Subject field—type a subject that will appear in the subject line of the email (for example: System Events -- PortalProtect Services - PortalProtect service did not start successfully).
In the Message fields—you can create a unique message using variables like: [Server Name], [Date], [Time], [Condition Triggered], and [Triggered Condition Information].
Note: The available variables appear in the left window, and the message body in the right window.
Select SNMP to enable this option.
Configure the following options:
IP Address
Community
Message—create a message as stated in Step 4 of the previous procedure.
Select Write to Windows event log to write each notification to the Windows event log.
Click Save.
