Configure Scheduled Scan: Data Protection

To configure a new Scheduled Scan task: Data protection scan

  1. On the left menu, click Scheduled Scan. The Scheduled Scan screen appears.

  2. Click Add. The Scheduled Scan: Add Scan Task screen appears.

  3. Type a new task name in the Scan task name field.

  4. As a pre-requisite, be sure to configure the options as described in Configuring a Scheduled Scan.

  1. Under Select the scan type, select whether to perform data protection for the following:

  2. Data protection for document

  3. Data protection for Web content

  1. Click the Data protection link. The Scheduled Scan: Data Protection screen appears.

  2. Click Add to create a new policy. The Scheduled Scan: Data Protection: Add Policy > Step 1: Specify Rules screen appears.
