The Policy Server archives client validation logs when they reach a specified size and deletes archived client validation logs after a specified number accumulates. Specify the way that the Policy Server maintains client validation logs.
Next to Log format, click the type of format you want the Policy Server to record:
Simple: Displays the following information:
Time of the validation
Client IP address
Validation result
Detailed: Displays the following information:
Time of the validation
Client IP address
Validation result
Client machine state
Client Real-time Scan service status
Client Virus Scan Engine version
Client Virus Pattern version
Client Virus Pattern release date
OfficeScan server location
Policy matched
Rule matched
Server Virus Scan Engine version
Server Virus Pattern version
Server Virus Pattern release date
Type the maximum size (between 1 and 1024MB) for each log. The Policy Server creates a new log file when the current log file reaches the maximum size.
Type the number of log files (between 2 and 30) for the Policy Server to maintain.
Click Save.
