OfficeScan makes use of components
               and programs to keep 
client computers
               protected from the latest security risks. Keep these components
               and programs up-to-date by running manual or scheduled updates.
            
 
            In addition to the components, OfficeScan clients also receive updated
               configuration files from the OfficeScan server. Clients need the
               configuration files to apply new settings. Each time you modify OfficeScan settings through the
               web console, the configuration files change.
