Disabling the OfficeScan Firewall

You can disable the OfficeScan firewall on all or selected client computers.

 

Method A: Create a new policy and apply it to clients.

  1. Create a new policy that does not enable the firewall. For steps in creating a new policy, see Adding or Modifying a Firewall Policy.

  2. Apply the policy to the clients.

 

Method B: Disable the firewall driver and service.

  1. Disable the firewall driver.

    1. Open Windows Network Connection Properties.

    2. Clear the Trend Micro Common Firewall Driver check box from the network card.

  2. Disable the firewall service.

    1. Open a command prompt and type services.msc.

    2. Disable OfficeScan NT Firewall from Microsoft Management Console (MMC).

 

Method A: Disable the OfficeScan firewall feature.

  1. On the Firewall for networked computers row, click Disable.

 

Method B: Disable the firewall service.

  1. Select the root domain.

  2. Click Settings > Additional Service Settings.

  3. Disable the Firewall Service option.

  4. Choose from the following options:
