Adding_and_Editing_a_Firewall_Profile
Client computers may require different levels of protection. Firewall profiles allow you to specify the client computers to which an associated policy applies, and grant client users privileges to modify firewall settings. Generally, one profile is necessary for each policy in use.
To add a profile:
Networked Computers > Firewall > Profiles > Add
Click Enable this profile to allow OfficeScan to deploy the profile to OfficeScan clients.
Type a name to identify the profile and an optional description.
Select a policy for this profile.
Specify the client computers to which OfficeScan applies the policy. Select computers based on the following criteria:
IP address
Domain: Click the button to open, and select domains from, the client tree.
Computer name: Click the button to open, and select client computers from, the client tree.
Platform
Logon name
Client connection status
Select whether to grant users the privilege to change the firewall security level or edit a configurable list of exceptions to allow specified types of traffic. See Adding and Modifying a Firewall Policy for more information about these options.
Click Save.
To edit a profile:
Networked Computers > Firewall > Profiles > <Profile Name>
Click Enable this profile to allow OfficeScan to deploy this profile to OfficeScan clients.
Modify the following:
Profile name and description
Policy assigned to the profile
Client computers, based on the following criteria:
IP address
Domain: Click the button to open the client tree and select domains from there.
Computer name: Click the button to open the client tree and select client computers from there.
Platform
Logon name
Client connection status
Privileges: Select whether to grant users the privilege to change the firewall security level or edit a configurable list of exceptions to allow specified types of traffic. See Adding and Modifying a Firewall Policy for more information about these options.
Click Save.
