OfficeScan automatically disables some features on server platforms to avoid performance issues.

To enable the disabled features:

Before enabling the features, consider any potential impact on critical applications. If you encounter performance issues after enabling these features, contact Technical Support to obtain and run the Trend Micro Performance Tool (TMPerfTool).

Add critical applications to the list of approved programs to reduce the impact on these applications. See Behavior Monitoring.

Add the following data in the registry key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Misc.\:

Type: DWORD value (REG_DWORD)
Name: DoNotDisableFuncOnServerPlatform
Value: Specify one of the following
0: Disable OfficeScan Firewall, Behavior Monitoring, Device Control, and Client Self-protection on server platforms
This is the default setting.
1: Enable OfficeScan Firewall but disable Behavior Monitoring, Device Control, and Client Self-protection on server platforms
2: Enable Behavior Monitoring, Device Control, and Client Self-protection but disable OfficeScan Firewall on server platforms
3: Enable OfficeScan Firewall, Behavior Monitoring, Device Control, and Client Self-protection on server platforms

Restart the client.
