To enable debug logging for the Common Firewall Driver on Windows Vista/2008 computers:
Add the following data in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\tmwfp\Parameters:
Type: DWORD value (REG_DWORD)
Name: DebugCtrl
Value: 0x00001111
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\tmlwf\Parameters:
Type: DWORD value (REG_DWORD)
Name: DebugCtrl
Value: 0x00001111
Restart the computer.
Check wfp_log.txt and lwf_log.txt in C:\.
To enable debug logging for the Common Firewall Driver on Windows 2000/XP/2003 computers:
Add the following data in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\tmcfw\Parameters:
Type: DWORD value (REG_DWORD)
Name: DebugCtrl
Value: 0x00001111
Restart the computer.
Check cfw_log.txt in C:\.
To disable debug logging for the Common Firewall Driver (all operating systems):
Delete "DebugCtrl" in the registry key.
Restart the computer.
To enable debug logging for the OfficeScan NT Firewall service:
Edit TmPfw.ini located in <Client installation folder> as follows:
[ServiceSession]
Enable=1
Reload the client.
Check TmPfw.log in C:\temp.
To disable debug logging for the OfficeScan NT Firewall service:
Open TmPfw.ini and change the "Enable" value from 1 to 0.
Reload the client.
