Disabling Logs

Logs are enabled during policy creation. To stop log generation, review all enabled policies. Go through each policy section to ensure that the logging option is disabled.

To review a policy and disable logging options:

  1. Click Policy Enforcement to expand the menu.

  2. Click Policies.

  3. Click the name of the policy. All enabled policies have a check mark (icon_enabled.gif) under Enabled.

  4. Review each policy section for either of the following phrases, which indicate that logging is enabled:

  5. Click the Edit button next to the name of the first section that has logging enabled.

  6. Modify the policy section by deselecting the Log policy violations option.

  7. Click Next to cycle through the rest of the policy sections, disabling logging options when applicable.

  8. To ensure that all logging options have been disabled, double-check all policy sections when you reach the review screen.

  9. After reviewing all policy sections, click Save to apply any changes to the policy.
