URL Reclassification & Lookup

HTTP > URL Filtering > Settings | URL Reclassification & Lookup

You can submit a request for Trend Micro to review the URL filtering classification of any URL that you believe is inappropriate, or request that a URL be added to the filter. Also, if you want to know the category of a particular URL, you can look up this URL to find this information.

To reclassify a URL, request the addition of a URL, or to lookup a URL:

1. From the main menu, click HTTP > URL Filtering > Settings and then open the URL Reclassification & Lookup tab.

2. Click the Trend Micro Site Safety Center link. (http://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com/)

3. Enter the necessary information in the Trend Micro Reclassification URL window. SHOW ME>>

  You can also contact TrendLabs from outside the IWSVA console:
  
  - If you have a phish URL, send an email to: iwssurlreport@support.trendmicro.com, and specify "Phish or Disease Vector" as the subject.
  - If you have a URL reclassification, do the same but specify "URL Filtering reclassification" as the subject.
  - You can also use Trend Micro's Web-based submission form to report potentially dangerous sites (phish, spyware), or new viruses, worms, Trojans, and other Internet threats:  http://subwiz.trendmicro.com/SubWiz (do not use this site for URL reclassification).
