Summary: Scanning

Click a virus name on this screen to open a new Web browser that takes you to a detailed virus description page on the Trend Micro Web site.

The following provides a brief description of the Scanning screen:

• Turn On/Off HTTP(S) Traffic | FTP Traffic—Toggle these settings to enable or disable the flow of the HTTP(S) and/or FTP traffic across the LAN.

• Caution: When disabled, the HTTP(S) / FTP traffic will not be scanned. All traffic will be stopped at the gateway.

• Threat Resources—This feature allows you to quickly access popular statistics and information from Trend Micro with the following options:

• Trend Micro Threat Resource Center

• TrendTracker

• Malware/Spam Map

• Virus Encyclopedia

You can also view the following reports on this screen:

• Top 5 Detected Virus/Malware (last 7 days)

• Top 5 Virus/Malware Risk (last 7 days)

• Scanning results for—Select the time period you want to view and click Refresh in the upper right corner of the table to display the activity logs. IWSVA analyzes the logs and displays an incidents summary for the listed activities.
