HTTPS Decryption Policies: Rules

HTTP > HTTPS Decryption > Policies | Policy | Rule

This screen allows you to select the categories of HTTPS traffic to decrypt.

• Enable policy—Enables or disables the individual policy; the global HTTPS decryption setting overrides the specifications of an individual policy.

• URL Category—Choose the URL categories whose HTTPS traffic you want to decrypt. There are over 80 categories segmented in seven logical groups. You can create custom categories in HTTP > Configuration > Custom Categories.

• Note: IWSVA only matches the first custom category regardless of whether zero or more than one custom category is selected.

• To be decrypted—To select all the categories of a group, click Select All for the group. The group does not need to be expanded for you to select all categories in a group.

• Notes—Use to create policy notes, for example, to summarize the intent or justification for the policy. It can serve as a simple reminder or as a communication to others who might later administer this feature.
