Home > How To... > Configure Sun Java or Linux OpenLDAP
Back=right mouse click.
Administration > IWSVA Configuration > User Identification | User Identification
In the User Identification screen, select User/group name authentication and click Select LDAP Vendor.
By default, the IWSVA LDAP configuration assumes a default set of LDAP attribute names. If your LDAP server uses any custom settings you can create an equivalency table so IWSVA will recognize the non-standard values and map them to the AD standards.
Corporate group—maps to GroupsAttr=groupofuniquenames
Corporate user—maps to CorpUserAttr=inetorperson
Corporate identity (UID)—maps to CorpIdentity=uid
Corporate common name—maps to CorpCnAttr=cn
Distinguished name (DN)—LDAP v3 standard attribute
Corporate memberOf—This is can be used for associating a user object with the group(s) ti which the user belongs. If your LDAP Directory tree relies on a customized attribute type, identify it in the Attribute name column, and for the customized attribute syntax, choose the LDAP standard equivalency from the drop down under the Attribute syntax column.
Common name
Distinguished name (DN)
Corporate member—This is can be used to associate a group with associated user/group member(s). As described previously, if your LDAP relies on a second custom attribute, identify it in the Attribute name column, and then choose the LDAP standard equivalency from the drop down under the Attribute syntax column.
