If you are using LDAP 3 compatible in a LDAP farm configuration, you can enable Referral chasing to have IWSVA check up to two additional LDAP servers if a given set of logon credentials, queried users, and queried groups that are not found from the main LDAP server.
To open the Referral Servers page, you must first select User/group name authentication at the top of the User Identification page, and then enable Referral Chasing.
Primary referral server—The first LDAP server you want IWSVA to check after determining a unsuccessful log attempt , or a queried user/group object not found from the main LDAP server.
Secondary referral server—The second LDAP server you want IWSVA to check after determining an unsuccessful log attempt , or a queried user/group object not found from the Primary Referral LDAP server.
2. Next, complete the LDAP and Kerberos information for one or both LDAP referral servers.
