Procedure

1. Log on to the IMSVA management console.
2. Click System Status.
3. Verify that no services are starting or stopping. If services are starting or stopping, wait until the operation has completed.
4. Navigate to Administration → Import/Export.
5. Under Import Configuration Files, click Browse... and locate the file.
6. Click Import. The original IMSVA settings and rules, such as domain-based delivery settings, will be deleted and replaced by the imported settings and rules. All services on each device in the group restart to apply the imported settings and rules. Wait until all services restart.

   Note Only services that were running while the import performs will restart.

7. If the import is successful, you may click Download log file to view details of the import.
   During import, do not:

   • Access other management console screens or modify any settings.
   • Perform any database operations.
   • Start/stop any services on the device or in the group to which the device belongs.
   • Register/unregister any child devices into/from the group to which the device belongs.
   • Launch other export or import tasks.

   If the import is unsuccessful, the configuration will roll back to the original settings before the import.� If the import is unsuccessful during the import of EUQ approved list settings, all settings rollback except for the EUQ approved list settings.
