Enabling Communication Control Rules Parent topic

Procedure

  1. Go to Communication Control.
    The Communication Control screen appears.
  2. Select Enable Communication Control.
  3. Enable specific rules by changing the Enabled icon from disabled (icon_disabled_rule.jpg) to enabled (icon_enabled_rule.jpg).
  4. To change the order in which IM Security processes the rules:
    1. Select the check box beside a rule name and click Change Priority.
    2. Under the Priority column, type the new priority for the rule in the text box that appears.
    3. Click Save each time you want to change the priority for a rule.
  5. Click Save.
