Email Notifications
Procedure
- Verify and ensure the correctness of the administrator's SMTP notification
settings. IM Security
uses the notification settings to send email notification.
- Contact your mail administrator to verify whether SMTP server authentication is
enabled. If so, verify that the credentials used are valid.
- Ping the SMTP server to ensure that the server can be resolved (through host
name or IP address).
- Verify IM Security's
SMTP port setting is matching the SMTP port being used (the default SMTP port is
25).
