  1. Open the bootcfg.properties configuration file at the following location:
    /home/dgate/prod/common/cfg/bootcfg/bootcfg.properties
  2. Edit bootcfg.properties.

    reboot_schedule_flag
    Specifies whether to enable silent reboot:
    • 1 is the default. A scheduled restart will occur after a patch or hot fix installation.
    • * 0 restarts the endpoint immediately after installation (as in DLP 5.0).
    reboot_schedule_time
    Specifies the time for the scheduled restart in the format “hh:mm” where hh is hour and mm is minute.
    “02:00” is the default.
    reboot_popup_flag
    Specifies whether or not to display a pop-up screen prior to restart, offering users the option of accepting an immediate restart or a manual restart later.
    • 0 is the default. No DLP screen displays when the restart occurs.
    • 1 displays a pop-up screen prior to restart so users can choose an immediate restart or not.
    reboot_popup_title
    reboot_popup_body
    Specifies what to display in the title and body of the pop-up screen set with the reboot_popup_flag configuration.

    If you use multi-byte characters (such as Japanese characters), save this configuration file in UTF-8 encoding format.
    reboot_prompt
    Specifies the text string to display in the body of the Windows™ shutdown prompt screen.
    reboot_delay_sec
    Specifies how many seconds to delay the system restart after the DLP agent triggers the restart command. This must be an integer.
    30 seconds is the default value.
    Once you save the bootcfg.properties file, the DLP management server notifies endpoints to apply this change.
