Reconfiguring the DLP Manager Server Address Parent topic

Typically, the DLP server IP address is configured during remote crawler setup. However, in some cases, the DLP server IP may change. Or, if a remote crawler switches from one DLP server to another DLP server, the IP address will change. In this case, you may want to reconfigure the DLP manager server address.

When switching from one DLP server to another, Trend Micro recommends that you reinstall the remote crawler rather than reconfigure the IP (since the cache may not be useful for the new server and should be removed).
  1. From the Remote Crawler Agent Console, select File → Configuration.
    The Remote Crawler file configuration screen appears.
  2. Type the server address and click Save.
    The Remote Crawler automatically registers to the server in several minutes.
    Schedule or run the remote crawler acquisition process from the DLP web console at Data Protection → Data Identifiers → Fingerprints.
