Configuring the Alert Dialog Box
Data Loss Prevention provides a default client-side, security alert dialog box that appears to users on the agent endpoint when:
An incident occurs (depending on the company policy)
For encryption justification
You can edit its XML code, such as importing a logo image file (.GIF).
Navigate to
Administration
→
Agent Configuration
→
Advanced Settings
→
Dialog Configuration
.
The
Advanced Settings Dialog Configuration
tab appears.
Click
Load Dialog File
.
The Dialog Configuration XML file loads into the text box.
Modify the XML code, but do not use single quotation marks.
Browse to a logo file and upload it.
Use a GIF file type that is no larger than 450 by 200 pixels and does not exceed 3MB.
The GIF can contain a transparent background.
Change the tag from “<Logo Show=”0”…” to “<Logo Show=”1”…”).
Click
Deploy to Agent
.
For online agents, changes take place within several minutes.
For offline agents, changes take place after the agents come online to get the latest configurations.
