Installing the SSL VPN Client on Android OS (4.0+) Parent topic

Procedure

  1. Download the SSLVPN mobile configuration file from https://<appliance_server_IP address>/Config/mobile.ovpn and then copy configuration file to the Android device's SD card.
  2. Install OpenVPN Connect from Google Play.

  3. Open the OpenVPN Connect application.

  4. Press the Action Overflow button and then select Import.

  5. Select Import Profile from SD card.

  6. Select mobile.ovpn and then tap Select.

  7. Specify the user name and password, and then tap Connect.

    The OpenVPN Connect screen appears.

SSLVPN tunnel is established and the user can access internal resources via the secure VPN tunnel.
