Deep Edge works as a security device on a network and packets must pass through it. administrators must understand certain basic routing concepts to configure the Deep Edge unit appropriately.

Deep Edge supports configuring static and dynamic routes at Network → Routing. Deep Edge provides configurable routing management functions such as: static and dynamic routing, including Routing Information Protocol (RIP), RIP for IPv6, Open Path Shortest First (OSPF), and OSPF for IPv6.
