Updating Manually from the Deep Edge Web Console Parent topic

Deep Edge provides an option to manually update pattern files or to schedule updates. The manual update feature is useful when a pattern file is corrupt and must be downloaded again from the update server.
No components are updated if Deep Edge is already using the latest version of the components.

Procedure

  1. Go to AdministrationUpdates.
  2. Click either the Component Updates or Software Patches tab.
    • For component updates, select some or all of the components to be updated and click Update Now.
      A message box appears if the version of the pattern file on Deep Edge is greater than or equal to the counterpart on the remote download server. If the pattern file on Deep Edge is older than the one on the remote download server, the newer pattern file is downloaded.
    • For software patches, go to: http://downloadcenter.trendmicro.com/, click the product name, browse to the downloaded update, and then click Upload.
