Configuring Advanced Mobile VPN Settings

The Advanced tab provides some settings for advanced feature such as split DNS and split tunneling.

Go to Network → User VPN → Mobile VPN → Advanced tab.
If needed, select the Dead peer detection check box to enable the system to detect dead (offline) remote systems.
Select the Split Tunneling check box to enable it. Enabling split tunneling splits the Local Networks specified on the General settings. Only corporate traffic is routed via the VPN tunnel and non-corporate traffic is routed via the provider’s network
Select the Split DNS check box to enable it. When Split DNS is enabled, corporate resources are sent to the DNS server residing in the corporate environment via the VPN tunnel. Lookups for non-corporate lookups are send to the provider’s DNS server.
1. Specify the Domain and the DNS server IP address values, if Split DNS is enabled.
Select the appropriate IKE debug level:
- Control
- Emitting
- Parsing
- Raw
- Crypt
Click Apply.
