c_proxy_settings_for_updates
If you use a proxy server to access the Internet, you must enter the proxy server information into the Deep Edge Web console before attempting to update components. Any proxy information that you enter is used for the following:
Updating components from Trend Micro’s update servers
Product registration and licensing
Web reputation queries
Open the Deep Edge Web console and click Administration > System Settings > Proxy Settings tab.
Select “Use HTTP proxy server (for system updates, license updates, and others.)” to specify a proxy server or port.
If your proxy server requires authentication, check the check box and type a user ID and password in the fields provided.
Leave these fields blank if your proxy server does not require you to authenticate.
Click Apply.
In bridge mode, the Deep Edge has an internal interface and an external interface. To ensure updates function properly, the configuration of the ActiveUpdate proxy and server settings must be done on the same side. If Deep Edge is deployed with other proxy servers, the next hop proxy settings for the ActiveUpdate proxy and server should be the same server on the same side of the interface.
