Procedure

1. Before restoring settings, back up the current configurations. For details, see Backing Up File Settings.
2. Go to Administration → System Maintenance → Backup / Restore.
3. Under Default Settings, click Reset to Default Settings.
   A confirmation message appears.
4. Click OK.
   Deep Discovery Inspector restarts after restoring the default configuration settings.
5. Wait one minute after re-starting to log onto the management console.

   Tip Use the preconfiguration console to modify the appliance network settings or access the management console using the default IP address, 192.168.252.1/24.

   Note When Deep Discovery Inspector starts, it checks the integrity of its configuration files. The management console password may reset if the configuration file containing password information is corrupted. If you are unable to log on to the management console using your preferred password, log on using the default password admin.
