Control Manager Parent topic

Trend Micro Control Manager is a software management solution that gives you the ability to control antivirus and content security programs from a central location, regardless of the program's physical location or platform. This application can simplify the administration of a corporate antivirus and content security policy.

On TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection for Email, use the Administration → Integrated Products/Services → Control Manager tab to perform the following tasks:
  • Register to a Control Manager server.
    For details, see Registering to Control Manager.
  • Check the connection status between TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection for Email and Control Manager.
  • Unregister from a Control Manager server.
    For details, see Unregistering from Control Manager.
  • Synchronize suspicious objects with Control Manager.

Ensure that both TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection for Email and the Control Manager server belong to the same network segment. If TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection for Email is not in the same network segment as Control Manager, configure the port forwarding settings for TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection for Email.
